All residential landlords can apply for one of the three following rental assistance programs depending on where their rental property is located. These programs can pay landlords up to 80% of unpaid COVID-19 rental debt if the landlord agrees to waive the additional 20%. While the tenant does have to participate in the program independently, landlords are able to start the program application directly. We encourage all landlords to apply to this program.
